IKEA partners with the Baby Bank Alliance

IKEA and the Baby Bank Alliance have joined together in partnership, working to support baby banks to help more babies and children have the essential items they need to thrive.

4.5 million children in the UK are now living in poverty. Families are being forced to make impossible daily decisions; between food or turning the heating on, rent or nappies.

Across the UK, baby banks are stepping up to help.

Baby banks receive donations of essential items for babies and children – items like clothing, nappies, toys, toiletries and baby equipment – and pass them on, for free, to families in need. Baby banks provide a sustainable way to reuse pre-loved children’s items, and are a lifeline for around 400,000 babies and children a year.

Demand for support from baby banks has never been higher and the Baby Bank Alliance supports and advocate for all 400+ UK baby banks.

IKEA are donating vital funding and support to enable the Baby Bank Alliance to support baby banks across the UK.
