Writing an inspection checklist for a cot, cot bed, or crib

All safe sleep spaces should be checked for safety and assessed on their suitability before re-homing them to a new family. Safety is of paramount importance. All cots, cot beds and cribs must be safety checked before being passed on to a family. They should conform to the UK safety standard BS EN 716:2008.
